….we have all these clowns! It is a great benefit for Children and just awsome to see.

There are alot of attractions as well in and around the city.  There is something for the Nature lover. Even those who love the water. Great for the kids as well who like birds and reptiles. Another circus helping kids.

We have help for the elderly and I even have used this place for health care.

There is so much more to see and do here in my new hometown.  It is a great place to visit and live.

Born in Calif Feb 19th. Raised around Southern Calif. going to schools in Aneihem, Yorba Linda, Fullerton and Whittier.

I’m the mother of three and grandma to two.  Been married and diviorced twice. Now it is just “me,myself, and I”  And I am doing just fine.

Thanks be to the man upstairs, I am still here. Why? Sometimes I wonder, but then there is a reason for everything, right?  With all the health issues I have lived through I thank my guardian angels and the lord above every day.  (*note of shout out to you john for being there when i couldn’t do for myself -love ya always , mom)

Have worked most of my adult life.  Had been driving a taxi cab for the pass 20 some years. I no longer drive, deciding to “retire” once hearing that the man who got me started those many years ago was shot and killed Sept.’06

I have lived in Calif, Arizorna, Indiana, South Carolina, and now am in Florida

Ever wonder just where you came from or how you got here. What are you made of. What was it like back when your grandparents, or even the great grandparents were children. Ever wonder why so may of the same names in your family and where they come from. Are there alot of birthdays, or anniversaries in the same month amoung your cousins and other relatives? Do you know the when and where info of your grandparents growing up, how they met, or when and where they got married. What of your great-grandparents. This info is so much a part of you, and your children, who would then pass on down to their children.

I started digging into my family roots just before my father’s death Dec.2005.  His side is easy,  I got back to about mid 1700’s.  His grandmother Vercie (HEACOCK) Sargent went west to Calif. from Illinois several winters after breaking her hip.  There are many memories of fresh baked bread, getting her into a pair of levi jeans for the first time in her 80 some years, and the sewing projects we did together.  But what I didn’t know was her and her husband were married May 13th, which turns out to be my first child’s birthdate, only 71yrs later.  This is when doing genealogy peaked for me. Now from this date I checked around and have now gotten the application of marriage lic. which the two filled out.  I shows both of  their parents names, place of birth , etc. So this helps with the backtracking papertrail.

Both my parents are gone, but still have my aunt (mom’s sis) to fill in the blanks. I am waiting on the Social Security Application of both my parents which should give me some more info on the trail I still haven’t been able to start.

I don’t have much of my dad’s folks, and as for mom, well grandma is from SWEDEN so that is a whole ‘nother ball of wax!

Check out http://www.ancestry.com/search/ depending on your own age, try typing in your info, then your parents, and grandparents.  If you have the info on your gr-grandparents, then go for it.

If you want help, or don’t have the time, contact me gamma@swedishgnome.com with the subject line of GENEALOGY
